Best private high schools: Last year’s No. 4 tops Niche’s 2027 list

Nichols School has claimed the top spot as Buffalo’s leading private high school for 2027, moving up from last year’s fourth place, according to Niche. Recognized for its rigorous academics, outstanding extracurriculars, dedicated faculty, college prep focus, and a truly supportive community, Nichols sets a high standard. As someone who understands the importance of strong local schools in shaping both neighborhoods and property values, I appreciate how institutions like Nichols contribute to the WNY community’s appeal. It’s one more reason families are drawn to our area—where educational excellence and great living go hand in hand.
